The Community Outreach Unit operates special programs across Israel to build resiliency and provide trauma intervention before, during, and after emergencies occur. The goal is to equip civilians of all ages and backgrounds with the psychological resources to cope with ongoing exposure to trauma in order to reinforce the collective resilience of Israeli society.

Adopt a Family

NATAL’s Adopt a Family program provides in-home clinical treatment to Israeli children and their families living in some of Israel’s hardest hit regions.

Helping the Helpers

Trauma resiliency for Israel’s first response professionals who are regularly exposed to high levels of trauma in their line of work and depended upon in times of crisis. Such professionals include paramedics, ZAKA, Israel Police, emergency room nurses and doctors, and firefighters.
